Degree Requirements

The degree requirements include 10 required 3-credit hour graduate-level computer science courses. There are no dependencies among them. Students can take them in any order. Classes are offered in two 7-week sessions during the fall and spring semesters and two 6-week sessions during the summer.

Advising

After being accepted into the Master’s of Computer Science (MCS) program, students will receive a personalized degree plan. This plan outlines the required graduate and leveling courses specified at the time of admission. Before scheduling an appointment with your academic advisor, please ensure you have:

  1. Received your Texas Wesleyan login credentials.
  2. Completed the MCS Orientation.
  3. Acknowledged that you have read and understood the orientation materials.
